Why must I "Run as Administrator"?
Lockdown Browser runs in a highly secured state to prevent cheating. "Run as Administrator" grants our tool the necessary elevated permissions to interact with this secure environment. Without it, the bypass cannot access the information it needs to work.
My antivirus flagged Jarvis.exe. Is it safe?
Yes, the file is completely safe. Because the tool interacts with other programs at a deep level (memory manipulation), some antivirus software may incorrectly flag it as suspicious. This is a "false positive." You may need to add an exception for Jarvis.exe in your antivirus settings to allow it to run properly.
The overlay isn't showing up when I press Ctrl+X.
Please check the following:
- Did you right-click and "Run as Administrator"? This is the most common cause of issues.
- Is your antivirus or firewall blocking the application? Try temporarily disabling it or adding an exception.

What happens if I forget to disable SIP?
System Integrity Protection (SIP) is a core macOS security feature. The Bluebook bypass needs it to be disabled to inject its code. If you forget to disable SIP, the installation script (script.sh) will fail, or the bypass simply will not function inside Bluebook. You must follow the instructions to disable it via Recovery Mode for the software to work.
What if I accidentally denied Accessibility or Screen Recording permissions?
If you denied a required permission, you can manually enable it. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security. Find the relevant section (e.g., "Accessibility" or "Screen Recording") in the list, and make sure your bypass application (e.g., Everest.app) is toggled on.
How can I fully reset app permissions to start over?
If permissions are not working correctly, you can use the built-in Terminal app to reset them. This forces the app to re-request permission on its next launch. Quit the app before running these commands.
For resetting Accessibility:

tccutil reset ScreenCapture com.everest.bypass
Note: The final part (com.everest.bypass) is the app's bundle identifier. Ensure you are using the correct one for your application.
